My little treehugger

Part of the reason my blog has been so neglected is because Wisconsin has been experiencing an early summer. The last two weeks have been incredible, temperatures in the 70s and 80s and it's been sunny almost every day. We have been outside enjoying this incredible weather. A little over a week ago we spent the weekend in Baraboo with Tim's parents. We did a lot of hiking and to my surprise my sweet Sofia who just turned two has become quite the little hiker. I shouldn't be too surprised given the amount of miles she has hiked in a carrier or in the BOB while I run since she was born but I am surprised at the stamina of a 2 year old. She hiked over two miles on her own on both Saturday and Sunday. Tim and I love outdoor activities so we are really excited to see her enjoying hiking so much. This morning I took all three kids on a long hike on the trail by our house that brings you right by Lake Michigan. Sofia was so cute, she said hello and good morning to everything she saw, "Hello trees, hello river, hello lake, hello birds etc. Here are some pictures from our hiking weekend.
